General Information



Students are welcome to either come for the entire class (which includes the exam) or for the exam only. Full-day classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and go as late as 5:00 p.m. Test-only students join the full-day class already in progress promptly at 2:30pm. All students have exactly two hours to complete the exam.     



ServSafe® 7th Edition Manager textbooks are mailed to all full-day students upon enrollment using the address provided at registration. Test-only folks have the option of purchasing the book at registration. While a comprehensive review of the material is provided during class for full-day students, it is highly recommended that all students thoroughly study ServSafe Manager’s most recent materials (currently 7th edition) in preparation for class and testing. Please see our Policies for important information regarding books.



Students must bring a photo ID (with a signature) to class. Students are not allowed to test without it. Sorry, no exceptions. Students purchasing books must also bring both the book and answer sheet to class.

We will take several breaks throughout the day, including one for lunch. There are several restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Students are also welcome to bring food and drink to class. Our facility is equipped with a refrigerator and microwave for students’ use. Feel free to either leave for lunch or remain in the classroom to eat.


We’d be happy to host a private ServSafe Manager class for your group at our facility. Group minimums do apply. Please contact us for further details.
